Xander Harris, nicknamed "The Zeppo" or "Nighthawk", is Willow and Buffy's best friend. Since meeting Buffy, Xander has carried a crush on her through the series. He tried to make a move by asking her to the Spring Formal only to be rejected. Although Xander realises that he can never have her, he stays by her side--always willing to give up his life for her safety.
Nicholas Brendon plays funny man, Xander. Nicholas got into acting to get rid of his stuttering problem. His twin brother, Kelly Donovan (Schultz), played opposite him as the other Xander in the BtVS episode "The Replacement". He was a production assistant on Dave's World and has guest-starred on shows like "Married...With Children" and "The Young and the Restless".
